Boston Hospitals Pave Way for Precision Medicine

President Obama’s proposed investment in precision medicine
“would allow us to determine which of these targeted therapies are most important
to study in children with cancer,” Katherine Janeway, MD, tells the BU Free
Press. The president’s proposal would allocate $215 million in the 2016 budget
to support research into precision medicine and the development of databases.
