Damone Clark, who spent “too much of his 15-year-old life navigating a path around the cancer of guns and gangs that infect his Dorchester neighborhood,” is fighting a rare bone cancer, writes Boston Herald columnist Peter Gelzinis. After having a steel femur implanted in his left leg to replace his cancer-ridden leg bone, he was back for surgery to remove malignant nodules from his right lung.
