Karate and its ability to calm is proving to be a powerful combination
to help children cope with cancer, WCVB-TV reports, in a story that features a
young patient who received a stem cell transplant at Dana-Farber/Boston Children's. The 10-year-old boy recalls being nervous
before a procedure. “I told myself to breathe in, to breathe out, and I felt
better,” he says.
