In Cancer’s Aftermath, Young Adults Find Support from Each Other

Tom Chalmers was in college when he was successfully treated for a pediatric brain tumor. Now he attends a support group for young adults affected by cancer, the Lewiston-Auburn (ME) Sun Journal reports. “Here, he can talk about his home life and about how his diagnosis affects his ability to date,” the story notes.
